They can't ruin The Great Gatsby for me. I beg you, Baz Luhrmann. I don't know what I'll do with myself if you take this masterpiece of a novel and ruin it even worse than the rendition that came out in 1974--that, unfortunately won two Academy Awards. Please, Mr. Luhrmann, if you can hear my plea, please stop what you are doing and please go back to making remastered versions and interpretations of William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. I am begging you from the bottom of my heart. Don't do it.
